Conditions For Grant Applicants
Disc Grants will generally be up to £500 in a year but may be increased if appropriate.
Disc Grants will be paid in two stages – 90% on approval and 10% when all the grant conditions are satisfied.
Disc Grants will generally be paid to voluntary groups/organisations but statutory bodies, such as schools, may apply for enrichment activities.
Disc Applications will only be considered from groups/organisations based in Stroud district.
Disc Applications must be submitted on the appropriate form before the end of February and spent during that year.
Disc Failure to adhere to these conditions or significant changes to the approved project will result in the grant being suspended and funds being required to be returned.
Disc If your project is particularly financially successful, up to 20% of your grant will be due to the Stroud Festival for distribution in future years.
Disc Applicants may be asked for additional information in advance of a decision.
Disc Applicants will be informed of the decision of the Stroud Festival Directors within six weeks of receipt of the application form.
Disc Successful applicants must advertise the activity/event as being part of the Stroud Arts Festival in publicity, programmes and tickets, by including the official logo.
Disc Two complementary tickets/invitations and a programme must be sent to the Stroud Festival Committee two weeks in advance.
Disc Where possible, space must be allocated for a display stand (this will be supplied) promoting Stroud Festival at the activity/event.
Disc After the event, a pro-forma (provided with the first grant payment) must be completed and returned to Stroud Festival – this details the numbers of people involved in the project and the numbers attending activities and events.

The final 10% grant payments will be distributed on receipt of this information.
Disc The decision of the Stroud Festival Board is final on all matters.
