One of the best incarnations of Harold Lloyd’s character, Harold Meadows - poor boy, dreamer, stammerer, stoically faces rejection and despair before shaking off the shackles of his shyness and capturing the girl of his dreams.

This hilarious silent film will be accompanied ‘Live’ on piano by local musician / composer Albert Lamb.

A unique event not to be missed.

The River Severn

Tales of the River Severn 1hr 20mins

A unique, specially commissioned collection of archive footage showing the history and life along and around the river Severn.

Highlights include pram racing in Tewkesbury in 1957-1958, Human Cannonball Mary Connors, the 1947 floods, an amphibious car during the 1960 floods, an elver eating contest,1958 footage of a man who lives in a tree and much, much elvmore.

This is a unique opportunity to meet the authors of the books you love.

Children’s authors Sue Limb (Girl 15, Charming but Insane), Elizabeth Lindsey (Magic Pony), John Dougherty (Jack Slater books), Jamila Gavin (The Coram Boy), Cindy Jeffries (The Rising Star and Fame Book Series), Hannah Shaw (The Evil Weasel, Erroll) will be reading from their work and answering questions, so come along listen, enjoy and get your books signed.

An evening of celebration - of story telling, of poetry, of song, of music in the spirit of the great visionary Poet William Blake on his birthday.

Come and hear Blake’s poems sung and recited. Come and hear Robin Williamson, founder of the legendary Incredible String Band, Subterraneans front man Jude Rawlins, the Fire Springs story tellers, 'Kings Cross laureate' Aidan Andrew Dun and Stroud poets, Jeff Cloves, Dennis Gould, Adam Horovitz, Jay Ramsay, Rick Vick, plus much much more.

The line up is impressive. Rarely has such a rich mix of poetry, song, music been drawn together in one event. This will be a unique experience.
